Ami D’Amelio Selected for Leadership Greater Nashua Class of 2010
Manchester, NH – September 4th, 2009 – Print Savvy is pleased to announce that Ami D’Amelio, Senior Account Executive, was accepted into the Leadership Greater Nashua program facilitated by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. Leadership Greater Nashua recognizes emerging leaders who will influence the direction of the Greater Nashua community in the years to come. These individuals are selected for the competitive program, based upon their achievements within their company or within the community, and upon written and oral interviews facilitated by leaders within the business community. Furthermore, they have demonstrated a passion for the Greater Nashua community, and champion a wide variety of issues important to the region’s future.
The Leadership Greater Nashua program was reformatted in 2006, and now offers both the traditional focus on community, historical development, political and economic underpinnings, and the social and business communities as well as the unique elements to develop real leadership skills by partnering with the Dale Carnegie program. In addition to the regular program, the 24 participants highlighted in this edition will develop a strategic plan focusing on local projects or initiatives they feel will improve the Greater Nashua region, and detailing how best to achieve those initiatives. These plans will be presented to the Chamber’s Board of Directors at the end of the program next June, which the Chamber can then choose to adopt and pursue.
Ami is highly qualified for the Leadership Greater Nashua program based on her extensive support of non-profits and community endeavors. She serves on several boards of directors, including New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility (NHBSR), Council on Fundraising (CONFR), Manchester Rotary Club, and Friends of CHaD, as well as the Manchester Community College Advisory Committee. Ami is also a Class of 2007 graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester, and actively supports the Greater Manchester, Greater Nashua, and Concord Chambers of Commerce. Ami was also selected as one of the 40 Under Forty in 2008 by the New Hampshire Union Leader.
